National Cybersecurity Plan inaprubahan ni PBBM
INAPRUBAHAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang National Cybersecurity Plan 2024-2029.
Sinabi ni Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan Uy na inaprubahan ang plano para mabigyan ng policy direction, operational guidelines in building sa cybersecurity posture pati na ang fortification sa cyberspace laban sa online threats ang bansa.
“We presented the national cybersecurity plan to the President. This was, you know, more than a year in the making and it’s actually a very comprehensive plan covering the years 2024 to 2028.
So the national cybersecurity plan is, well, it’s a document that provides direction, policy direction, as well as operational guidelines on how to build up our cybersecurity posture vis-à-vis the rest of the world,” pahayag ni Uy.
Sinabi ni Uy na nabuo ang cybersecurity plan matapos ang konsultasyon sa iba’t-ibang stakeholders sa public at private sectors kasama na ang academe.
Ayon kay Uy, inihambing ang cybersecurity plans para matukoy kung paano ang pagtugon sa tumataas na kaso ng cyber threats.
“So, we are intensifying on a massive scale our training and our capacity building for cybersecurity, for AI, for many of the emerging technologies among our digital workforce,” pahayag ni Uy.
