Nadine, ‘di bet bumalik sa romcom
Tiyak na matutuwa na naman ang fans ni Nadine Lustre dahil may bago na namang pelikula ang aktres, her second this year.
Si Nadine ang bibida sa psychological thriller film na Deleter ng Viva Films na ididirehe ni Mikhail Red. Makakasama niya rito sina McCoy de Leon at Louise delos Reyes.
Matatandaang matagal-tagal ding namahinga ang aktres sa paggawa ng pelikula dahil as we all know ay nagkaroon siya ng contract problems with her management (Viva Artists Agency) at nasabay pa nga ang pandemic.
Nang ma-settle ang problema with Viva Films, Nadine made a comeback last April via the movie Greed na isa ring suspense thriller.
Kaya naman ang tanong ng marami ay kung hindi na ba siya gagawa ng mga romantic-comedy film kung saan siya mas nakilala at sumikat.
Ayon kay Nadine sa story conference ng Deleter last Monday, ever since ay gusto niya talagang gumawa ng mga challenging movie.
“I’ve been so vocal about you know, wanting to have projects that are really out of the box, something that’s different from the stuff that I’ve done before. ’Coz everyone knows naman that I’ve done a lot of rom-com-drama films before.
“So now, I wanna switch it up and do roles and projects that are a little bit more challenging and something that’s new, something that’s very different from what I’m used to doing.
“So, yeah, I’m super excited to do Deleter kasi this time around, I get to work on a horror film,” sey ni Nadine.
Excited din daw siya to work with Direk Mikhail na first time niyang makakatrabaho.
Hindi pa masyadong makapagbigay ng detalye si Nadine and the rest of the cast dahil magsisimula pa lang silang mag-shoot this August kaya ayaw nilang magbigay ng spoiler.
Pero looking forward na raw silang lahat sa shooting.
“Ini-expect ko na lang na talagang mag-i-enjoy kaming lahat and definitely, it’s going to be good kasi nga, passionate kami pare-parehas and we’re all going to be collaborating,” sey ni Nadine.
“And nilu-look forward ko na eksena, ’yung habulan. ‘Yun lang po ang sasabihin ko. Excited na po akong habulin,” natatawang dagdag ni Nadine.
