THE Manila city government issued an advisory for some road closure to give way for the inauguration of the Pasig River Esplanade today.

Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan spokesperson Atty. Princess Abante, also the head of Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) said the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:

North and southbound lanes of Intramuros-Binondo Bridge, Magallanes Drive from Plaza Mexico to Jones Bridge and Plaza Lawton from Jones Bridge to McArthur Bridge.

Motorists going to Pier are advised to proceed to Padre Burgos Avenue, as an alternate route, turn right to Katigbak, turn right to Bonifacio Drive, straight to Anda Circle to point of destination.

Moreover, the MPIO also advised the closure of the north and southbound lanes of Roxas Boulevard, Katigbak Road, and South Drive for the BINI Fan Run X Move Manila.

However, bikers for MOVE Manila will be allowed on the Roxas Boulevard route from 7 to 9 a.m.
