Mandaluyong fire damages commercial building
AROUND P3.2 million worth of properties went up in smoke after a commercial building was razed by fire in Mandaluyong City on Saturday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-National Capital Region disclosed Sunday.
Based on the report, the blaze started at the storage area on the 5th floor of Robinsons Cybergate Tower 2 in Bgy. Barangka Ilaya, Mandaluyong City at 3:15 p.m.
At 3:46 p.m., BFP raised the second alarm.
A total of 17 fire trucks from neighboring cities responded to extinguish the blaze.
BFP-Mandaluyong declared fire out at 4:34 p.m.
The BFP said there were no casualties or reported injured during the incident.
BFP-Mandaluyong said they are still investing the cause of the fire.
