Man shoots partner dead before killing self
MAGALLANES, Cavite. – A man has shot and killed his partner before committing suicide by shooting himself in the head last Wednesday night in Brgy. Urdaneta here.
The victim was identified as Roschelle Maranan, 31, while the suspect was identified as Jherold Manalo, a resident of Brgy Urdaneta of this town.
According to the report gathered by the Magallanes police, the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. when the suspect and victim started to have a heated argument.
Police said the two argued for only a minute when the victim fell at the floor after being shot.
The suspect later shot himself in the head, killing him instantly.
The police are still investigating the motive behind the incident.
