A MAN was peppered with bullets by still unidentified suspects and died while inside a car along the highway Tuesday night in Bgy. Balagtas, Batangas City.

Batangas police identified the fatality as Archie Aceveda.

Initial investigation showed the victim was aboard a Honda Sedan (XJC 804) and headed towards Batangas City when the suspects on board a vehicle ambushed him at 11 p.m.

The suspects escapes.

Police are still investigating if Aceveda was driving the vehicle.

The victim was brought to the hospital for medical treatment by City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRM) team led by Belly Luciro but to no avail.
