
J&T Express robbed of P1.285-M in Cabanatuan City
CABANATUAN CITY – A local branch of the delivery firm J&T Express in this city was robbed at gunpoint by two men of some P1.285-million on Friday night.
Robbed was the firm’s branch at Kapitan Pepe Subd., at 8:40 p.m., city police head Lt. Col. Julius Ceasar Manucdoc.
Investigation showed two men, one of them identified as Mark Aberin, of Bgy. San Juan ACCFA, this city entered the office and at gunpoint declared a hold-up, grabbed the bag containing the money amounting to P1,285,000. and fled towards unknown direction.
The money was set to be counted when the suspects barged inside the firm, it was learned.
Police got the wind of the robbery after three J&T personnel identified as Mary Grace Sangueza, 24, administrative officer, Humprey Nuñez, rider, and Sherwin Villanueva, delivery team leader, reported the incident to the authorities last Saturday.
Aberin’s unidentified cohort was described to be wearing dark blue jacket, blue bull cap, face mask and denim pants, police said.
