Three Israeli health experts are set to arrive today in the Philippines to share their best practices on the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine rollout.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., also the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 chief implementer, has said the experts will discuss strategies on vaccine deployment, transition to the new normal and addressing vaccine hesitancy.

So far, Israel has been the first country in the world that has successfully inoculated majority of its population, paving the way for the gradual reopening of its economy after several lockdowns.

Galvez explained Israel’s “highly successful” vaccination method allows people who have received the jabs to increase their mobility and slowly return to normalcy, while those who have not been vaccinated will still need to follow quarantine protocols.

The team of Israeli health professionals is the second group of health experts to visit the country to share their best practices on COVID-19.

In April 2020, a 12-member Chinese medical expert team also visited the Philippines to share their best practices on managing the disease to increase the number of recoveries.
