INC endorses Jolo Revilla, 4 Lakas-CMD mayoral bets
NOVELETA, Cavite — The influential Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) has endorsed Vice Governor and Cavite 1st District congressional aspirant Ramon ‘Jolo’ Revilla III and four mayoral aspirants in the May 9 national polls.
The powerful religious bloc also endorsed the candidacies of reelectionist Noveleta Mayor Dino Chua and Vice Mayor Arlyn Torres, reelectionist Rosario Mayor Voltaire Ricafrente, Kawit reelectionist Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo and Cavite City mayoral bet Denver Chua together with Vice Mayoral aspirant Raleight Rusit.
“Maraming-maraming salamat po sa Iglesia ni Cristo, lalo na kay Ka Eduardo, sa pagtitiwalang ibinigay nyo sa amin at sa aking mga kasama. Nangangako po akong paglilingkuran, sa abot ng aking makakaya, ang ating mga kababayan lalo na ang hanay ng mga manggagawang Caviteño,” said Mayor Dino Chua.
Revilla was earlier endorsed by Governor Jonvic Remulla whi joined his motorcade.
Revilla III is eyeing a fresh congressional term under the Bongbong Marcos-Sara Duterte UniTeam ticket. He served for nine years as vice governor and presiding officer of Sangguniang Panglalawigan and three years as Liga ng mga Barangays (LnB) Federation President, while serving as Barangay Chairman of Panapaan, Bacoor, City.
Revilla III, Mayor Dino Chua, Mayor Voltaire , Mayor Angelo and Vice Mayor Denver Chua posted their big thanks to the powerful religious sector on their respective social media pages.
