Hotel thief falls to death from 6th floor
A SUSPECTED thief died after falling from the window of a hotel in Baguio City.
The suspect, whose name was being verified, fell from the sixth floor of a hotel on Kisad Road in Baguio City at 5 a.m. on Friday.
A hotel guest told probers that he was awakened by noise from the window of his hotel room.
The guest said he saw a man hurriedly leaving the room through the window before losing balance and plunging to death.
Responding lawmen found the suspect still holding a bag containing 11 Android phones, an iPod, a Singapore dollar and P1,510 in cash.
Hotel personnel told probers that they failed to notice the suspect because they were busy preparing for a wedding reception to be held in the hotel.
Police said the suspect was also involved in a series of robberies in different hotels in Baguio City.
