Hazing suspect surrenders in Cavite
TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – One of the suspects in the killing of John Matthew Salilig, a chemical engineering student from Adamson University, surrendered to Cavite Police on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
The suspect, 23, is also a student of Adamson University and a resident of Tanza, Cavite, according to Police Colonel Christopher Olazo, Cavite Provincial Police Office (PPO) director.
The suspect was presented to Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla in his office in Provincial Capitol around 1:30 in the afternoon.

The suspect is one of the “persons of interest” and was tagged by the authorities to the hazing incident at Biñan City, Laguna on February 18, 2023.
After the turnover, the suspect was brought to Trece Martires City Police for proper documentation.
Later in the afternoon, the suspect was endorsed to P/Capt. Ricky Gonzalez and PSSgt. Rex Capiroso, of Biñan CPS, for proper disposition.
