Graphic artist kidnapped in Batangas
A 38-YEAR-OLD graphic artist was believed to have been kidnapped by unidentified suspects in Lemery, Batangas last Friday.
Lemery Municipal Police Station Major Allan A. de Castro identified the alleged kidnap victim as Kenneth Roger Jumawan,with a live-in partner, an artist, and resident of Bgy. Arumahan, Lemery.
Case investigator P/Cpl Benedict P Eguia said at about 8:15 a.m. on October 29, a certain Jennelyn Montenegro, the victims’ live-in partner personally appeared at the Lemery MPS and reported the kidnapping incident.
According to her, at about 8:45 a.m. on the same date, the victim was seen buying food at the restaurant in front of his workplace at Barangay Malinis.
A CCTV recorded footage shows that unidentified persons in a white sedan, with unknown plate number, were seen forcibly taking the victim then fleeing towards Agoncillo.
A follow-up investigation and operation are still in progress to identify and for possible arrest of the suspects.
