Gov’t services caravan
THE crusading administration of President Marcos deserves the all-out support of the public as it exerts efforts to bring government services “closer to the people,” particularly the poor.
These efforts are all aimed at giving the people “new hope and new beginning,” said Marcos, the only son of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos and former First Lady Imelda R. Marcos.
Last Satruday, President Marcos launched a multi-pronged pro-poor government program designed to provide the Filipino people with easier access to various programs and services.
Launched by President Marcos in Camarines Sur, the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) aims to provide to “less fortunate Filipinos” major services under the government’s flagship projectcs.
Such flagship projects include the “Kadiwa bg Pangulo,” “Passport-on- Wheels” and other assistance and outreach programs under the auspices of various state agencies.
Actually, the BPSF was simultaneously launched in Monkayo, Davao de Oro, Visayas State University in Tolosa, Leyte, Laoag City in Ilocos Norte and Nabua, Camarines Sur.
The “caravans” in Davao de Oro, Leyte and Ilocos Norte were led by Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman/Special Presidential Assistant to the President Antonio Lagdameo , House Speaker Martin Romualdez and IN 1st District Rep. Ferdinand Alexander Marcos III, respectively.
President Marcos said that under the BPSF, the government gathered various offices to deliver services that would improve the lives of the people, particularly the unfortunate members of society.
The BPSF is expected to be replicated in every province throughout the Philippines to speed up the delivery of government services to the Filipino people.
