FEU-Diliman battles Ateneo
FAR Eastern University-Diliman opens its bid for a 11th consecutive title against Ateneo in the UAAP high school football tournament at the brand-new University of the Philippines Football Field in Diliman.
Kick-off is at 4 p.m.
Season 82 third placer La Salle-Zobel and University of Santo Tomas clash in the opening day’s other fixture at 6 p.m.
Nazareth School of National University, runners-up in the league’s most recent competition in 2020, won’t be seeing action this season.
The Baby Tamaraws extended their reign to 10 years after beating the Bullpups, 2-1, in the final last March 7, 2020.
Tournament format calls for a double-round eliminations, with the top two teams advancing in the one-match final on March 2.
