Female sexagenarian shot in Batangas home
A 60-YEAR-OLD woman on Wednesday survived a gun attack in her home in Cuenca, Batangas.
Victim Beatrice Velasco Blor of Bgy. Labac, Cuenca sustained gunshot wounds in the head and body.
Velasco was sleeping when shot.
An investigation showed the suspect gained entry through the kitchen.
Neighbors told the police that prior to the killing, they heard gunshots from the victim’s house at 4:10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Members of the Cuenca Municipal Police Station are conducting an in-depth investigation.
Authorities are eyeing personal grudge as the motive for the attack.
