
Farmer shot dead in Nueva Ecija
A FARMER on Friday was shot dead after arguing with a man in Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Joselito, 46, of Hacienda St., Bgy. San Francisco, San Antonio while the suspect was alias “Bobot,” a native of Capas, Tarlac.
Initial investigation showed that prior to the kllling, the suspect had an argument with the family of the victim about the stone throwing on the house of Joselito.
Minutes later, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim three times.
Witnesses said the suspect also tried to shoot the victim’s brother but the gun failed, prompting him to escape with an alias “CJ,” on a blue trike towards Bgy. Lambakin, Jaen, Nueva Ecija.
The victim was rushed to the SADH, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police launched “Oplan Bakod” for possible apprehension of the suspect.
