Estafa suspect falls in Ilocos Sur
SAN JUAN, Ilocos Sur- A person wanted for estafa was arrested yesterday in barangay Camindoroan in this town in Ilocos Sur.
Major Benjamin S Raqueban, chief of police, in his report to Col. Jugith del Prado, withheld for the meantime the identification of the suspect pending documentation of his case.
“Through the intensified intelligence-driven operation of the operatives of the San Juan MPS together with PIU, PIDMU, ISPPO and ISPMFC 3rd Platoon a person was arrested in Brgy. Camindoroan, San Juan, Ilocos Sur for the Crime of Estafa under Article 315 Paragraph 1, (B) of the Revised Penal Code docketed under Criminal Case 3706,” said Major Raqueban.
The court set an P18,000 bail recommended by Judge Rhodora Gines Arrocena of Magsingal, San Juan branch.
“I applaud the tireless efforts of our police officers to track down a wanted person.
Rest assured that the San Juan PNP will continue its intensified campaign (against criminalities) and other forms of illegal activities to ensure the safety and security of the community,” Raqueban added.
