GRATEFUL ang real-life couple na sina Elle Villanueva at Derrick Monasterio dahil sa kanilang reunion project na revenge-drama series na “Makiling.”

Sa Chika Minute ng “24 Oras,” kinuwento ng Kapuso couple ang kanilang pasasalamat na buhayin mula ang kanilang loveteam.

“Masaya kasi siyempre siya ulit ang ka-partner ko, hindi na ako mag-a-adjust ulit sa mga ibang partner. Tsaka siyempre kilala na namin ang isa’t isa, alam namin ang working style namin, and gusto ko ‘yung preparations namin before scenes. Gusto ko ‘yung mga ganu’ng bagay, napapadali ang work,” sabi ni Derrick.

Itatampok sa series ang mga usapin gaya ng sibling rivalry, bullying at mental health.

Tiniyak nina Derrick at Elle na handa sila sa kanilang pagganap sa kanilang mga karakter.

“Actually, aside from the workshop that GMA gave us, kumuha pa kami ng personal workshop naming dalawa to get into our characters,” sey ni Derrick.

“I guess naiisip lang namin na investment din siya para sa character namin at para sa sarili namin,” sabi ni Elle.

Kasama nila sa cast ang kanilang mga ka-Gen Z na sina Thea Tolentino, TJ Marquez, Royce Cabrera, Myrtle Sarrosa, Claire Castro at Kristoffer Martin.

May seryosong tema man ang kanilang proyekto, fun naman ito behind the scenes, ayon sa cast.

“We were very clear na since puro bata kami, baka hindi seryosohin ‘yung work, baka puro fun lang. But we were very clear to everyone na we’re business, dapat professional tayong lahat,” sabi ni Elle.

“We came here for business,” sabi naman ni Derrick.

Bago nito, naging reel-to-real ang tambalan nina Derrick ay Elle matapos ang kanilang proyektong “Return To Paradise.”

Matapos ianunsyo ang kanilang relasyon, ibinahagi nila sa kanilang mga social media ang kanilang bonding moments at travel together.

EA handa nang gumanap muli sa isang gay role

NASABI ni EA Guzman na ayaw niyang ma-typecast noon sa gay roles, kaya nagpahinga muna siya sa pagtanggap ng mga ito.

“Noong 2017, Deadma Walking, after no’n, napansin ko parang nata-typecast ako. So sabi ko ‘pahinga lang saglit,’” sabi ni EA sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

“Babalik pa rin naman ako. Hindi ko isinasara ‘yung pinto. Ngayon ginagawa ko ‘yung Super Mamshie, and I’m looking forward na gumawa ulit po ng pelikula na kahit bading ako or teleserye man ‘yan, I’ll do it,” sey ng Kapuso actor.

Si Super Mamshie ang karakter ni EA sa Bubble Gang, na isang superhero na fabulous na handang ipagtanggol ang mga gay people laban sa mga mapang-aping brusko.
