Ecija’s UPRIIS bestows ‘GAA’ to honor employees
CABANATUAN CITY – The National Irrigation Administration-Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation Systems (NIA-UPRIIS) here joined the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in celebrating the 122nd anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service during simple ceremonies honoring its top employees for their loyalty and dedicated service to the agency and to its farmer-clienteles on Thursday here.
UPRIIS Head Engr. Rosalinda B. Bote spearheaded the event held simultaneously in all of its division offices in Nueva Ecija, centering on the CSC’s 10-year overarching theme, “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”
Highlights of the event, which was dubbed as UPRIIS’ version of “CSC Day”, included the conferral of the “Gantimpala Agad Awards” (GAA) and commendation to employees who have shown commitment and dedication while in the performance of their duties as public servants.
In her address, Bote challenged her subordinates to follow and uphold these three keywords — “Objectives, Relevance, and Success”, laid down by NIA Administrator Benny D. Antiporda as the agency’s mission to be able to provide efficient, reliable, and sustainable irrigation service to the Filipino farmers.
