
Ecija’s No. 28 MWP for homicide falls
CABANATUAN CITY – The Nueva Ecija police nabbed the province’s no. 28 most wanted person (MWP) after an arrest warrant for four counts of homicide was served against him during a manhunt operation here on Wednesday afternoon.
Nabbed was Raffy Del Rosario, 43, of Purok 6, Bgy. Bagong Sikat.
He is ranked no. 28 in the most wanted list at the provincial level, said city police Lt. Col. Carl Omar H. Fiel in his report to Col. Jess B. Mendez, provincial police head.
Joint operatives from the warrant section of the city police, the PIU-NEPPO, CIDG-NE, PIT-NE, and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted the successful operation which led to the suspect’s arrest in Bgy. Kapitan Pepe at 5:10 p.m.
Mendez said the suspect has a standing arrest warrant for four counts of homicide issued by Guimba Judge Leo Cecilio Domingo Bautista, of Regional Trial Court Branch 32 on October 11, 2021 with a recommended bail of P100,000 for each count.
The arrested suspect is now under the custody of the Cabanatuan Police.
