Ecija man with strings of warrants falls

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A man wanted for 17 counts of violation of Republic Act 7610 or The Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Law on Monday was arrested in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., suspect Napoleon San Diego, 48, of Bgy. Padre Crisostomo, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, was arrested in his residence by joint operatives of the Cabanatuan City police and other police units.

San Diego has warrants of arrest for eight counts of sexual assault and nine counts of acts of lasciviousness issued by Judge Ma. Theresa Basilio, of the Cabanatuan City Regional Trial Court, with P3,060,000 recommended bail.

Hidalgo commended the operating units for the capture of San Diego, noting that the continuous arrest of persons sought by law are the results of intelligence-driven operations and timely coordination of police units.
