Drugs, gun seized from ‘pusher’ in Laguna
ILLEGAL drugs, a gun and ammunition were seized from a suspected drug pusher by Biñan City police Saturday in Purok 1, Sitio Manggahan, Bgy. Ganado, Biñan City, Laguna.
P/Lt. Col. Virgilio Jopia, Binan City police chief, identified the arrested suspect as Michael Piornato.
The operation was conducted on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Glenda R. Mendoza-Ramos of RTC Branch 36, Calamba City, Laguna.
Seized during the operation were six sachets of suspects shabu weighing 4.2 grams worth P27,300; a caliber 9mm pistol inserted with one magazine loaded with nine pieces of ammunition concealed in one sling bag.
