Drug peddler collared in buy bust
JAEN, Nueva Ecija — An suspected drug peddler was collared during a buy-bust operation conducted Monday night here.
Police head Major Baltazar Corpuz identified the arrested suspect as Juan Ramos, 60, of Bgy. Magsalisi, this town.
Ramos yielded five plastic sachets containing shabu after he was busted when he sold a P500 worth of illegal drugs to an undercover operative. The seized drugs weighed .30 grams having a street value of P3,500.
Corpuz said the suspect did not resist arrest after getting caught red-handed during the operation that was conducted at his house at 8 p.m. here.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 are being readied against the suspect.
