Drug den operator, 3 patrons nabbed in Subic drug den raid
SUBIC, Zambales — A drug den operator and three of his cohorts on Tuesday were arrested in a drug den raid that also resulted in the confiscation of at least P54,400 worth of shabu in Bgy. Calapacuan, this municipality.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales identified the arrested operator as alias “Ham,” 53, while the others were alias “Kome,” 27; alias “Jub,” 22; and alias “Denz,” 39, all residents of Bgy. Calapacuan, Subic.
The PDEA said the operation stemmed from a tip from a confidential informant.
The raiding team seized four plastic sachets containing more or less eight grams of shabu valued at P54,400, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.
The operation was jointly conducted by the PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PDEA Subic Seaport Interdiction Unit, PNP Zambales Drug Enforcement Unit, Naval Intelligence Security Group-Northern Luzon, and the local police.
All arrested suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
