Dismissed cop shot dead in Calamba City
A DISMISSED PNP member was shot dead by unidentified suspect while walking on his way home Tuesday night in Bgy.Parian, Calamba City, Laguna.
Calamba City police chief PLT. Col. Jonathan Villamor identified the slain victim as Ramonito Suarnaba Tomo, of Bgy. Parian, this city.
Tomo died while undergoing treatment for two gunshot wounds in the head at the Calamba City Medical Center.
Investigation conducted by Calamba police showed the victim was shot dead at about 6:55 pm in front of the BFP Mimaropa Office in Bgy. Parian, Calamba City.
Initial investigation showed the victim was walking on his way home when he was shot in the head near the BFP Regional Office. The suspects escaped.
