SAN JOSE CITY – A new police Officer-in-Charge (OIC) has been designated in this city in a reshuffle implemented by the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) on Wednesday.

Lt. Col. Marlon M. Cudal was installed as the new acting city police head, replacing Lt. Col. Palmyra D. Guardaya, who was re-assigned to the provincial community affairs development unit at NEPPO after serving here for less than eight months.

Cudal’s reassignment came more than a month after he was relieved at the Science City of Muñoz as city police chief and designated as chief of the Provincial Operations Management Unit.

The new OIC, who hails from Llanera, Nueva Ecija, paid a courtesy visit to City Mayor Mario “Kokoy” Salvador and the Sangguniang Panglungsod led by Vice Mayor Alexis “Ali” Salvador shortly after his installation here.

He vowed to intensify police operations against illegal drugs and all forms of criminality in the city.

“Ipagpapatuloy natin ang maganda at dekalidad na serbisyo para sa mamamayan ng Lungsod ng San Jose,” said Cudal during his “Talk to His Men” at the police station here.
