PASIG police nabbed a tricycle driver and confiscated around P120,000 worth of illegal drugs following a buy-bust Friday night.

In a report to Pasig Police chief Col Celerino Sacro Jr., the suspect was identified as ‘alias Jeff’ of Bgy. Sto Tomas, Pasig,

The suspect was nabbed along M. Eusebio Avenue, Bgy. San Miguel around 10: 30 pm.

Prior to his arrest, members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted an operation and were able to transact with the suspect.

The suspect was immediately nabbed after giving the illegal drugs to a policeman who posed as the buyer.

Police yielded from the suspect 15 grams of shabu with a street value of P102,000,

“I highly commend the excellent job, dedication and efforts of the SDEU operatives for their successful anti-illegal drug operations within our area of responsibility.

I also urge the public to be vigilant and be our active partners in the fight against all forms of lawlessness and criminality in the City,” Sacro said.
