Construction worker shot dead in Batangas
A CONSTRUCTION worker was killed after being attacked by an unknown suspect on board a motorcycle while walking at Sitio Duhatan, Barangay Palahanan 2.0, San Juan, Batangas, on Thursday (September 8, 2022).
The victim was identified as Marvin Tejada, 30, single, and a Mabalanoy, San Juan resident.
Barangay Palahanan chieftain reported the incident around 5:30 p.m. and authorities immediately proceeded to the scene.
Initial investigations revealed that while the victim was walking from the house of his friend and on his way home, an unidentified suspect on board a black motorcycle approached and shot the victim several times without any provocation, causing his instantaneous death.
Police recovered four fired cartridge casings for cal. .45 and some blood marks at the scene.
