Cebu Pacific announces removal of expiry of travel fund

CEBU Pacific has announced its travel fund will no longer have expiry date effective Aug. 1, 2023 while travel vouchers will have validity extension from 6 months to 18 months.

Carmina Romero, Corporate Communications Head and Spokesperson of CEBU Pacific, announced the news during an interview, claiming the budget carrier airlines is committed to serve the riding public with good services.

Romero also confirmed the company has already sent before the office of Sen. Nancy Binay, Chairperson of Committee on Tourism, and Sen. Grace Poe, Chairperson of Committee on Public Service, a list of the airline’s action plan to serve passengers better.

The actions are in line with the air passenger bill of rights.

Romero added effective Aug. 1, passengers can use the travel fund to pay for their future flights or for their family or friends.

Romero added that to monitor or avail themselves of this reformatted travel fund and travel vouchers, passengers has to register free of charge through myCEB account to store, monitor and use their travel fund.

Lance Gokongwei, owner of CEBU Pacific Airline, said that he created CEBU Pacific purposely to help the riding public experience affordable air flying.
