SILANG, Cavite – Silang Mayor Kevin Anarna, together with Municipal Administrator Jung Anarna, led the honoring of the gold medal winner at the recently concluded 32nd SEA (Southeast Asian) Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, during the flag ceremony held on Monday at the new municipal hall in Barangay Biga 1, May 22.

Mayor Anarna and Vice Mayor Ted Carranza awarded the plaque of appreciation to Virvien Reyes Bejosano for bagging the gold medal in the Soft Tennis game at the 32nd SEA Games held in Cambodia.

While teammate and University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) tourism coed Christy Sanosa from Panapaan, Bacoor City was also cited by the Bacoor local government unit (LGU) under Mayor Strike Revilla during the regular Monday flag-raising rites at Strike Gym inside Bacoor Government Center in Molino Boulevard.

Imus LGU and Mayor Alex Advincula also recognized the bronze medalists Mark Anthony Alcoseba of the Philippine Soft Tennis Team and Ranran Adbilla of the Philippine Men’s Beach Volley Team.

Bejosano, Sanosa, together with teammates Bien Zoleta-Mañalac, Bambi Zoleta from Quezon Province, Princess Catindig from Santa Rosa City, Fatima Amirul from Tawi-Tawi won gold in team events of Soft Tennis, while Alcoseba together with Joseph Arcilla, Sherwin Nuguit Deo Talatayod from Tarlac, Patrick Mendoza from Cebu, and Thor Moralde from Bukidnon won the bronze medal in the team event of Soft Tennis.
