Cavite LGUs launch eBOSS for easy payment of taxes

GENERAL TRIAS CITY – Local government units in the province of Cavite on Thursday launched the electronic Business-One-Stop-Shop (e-BOSS) for fast process of tax payments.

In Imus City, Mayor Alex Advincula said their accelerated eBOSS will entertain Imuseño entrepreneurs applying for business permit from January 2 to January 20, 2025 at discounted rate.

He said taxpayers who also want to pay taxes may visit the New Imus City Government Center, Imus Blvd., Bgy. Malagasang 1-G.

The government center is open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and every Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..

Taxpayers can also apply online by visiting the City of Imus eBOSS website www.egovcityofimus.ph/bpl/

“Avoid paying the fine. Immediately apply for your business permit. Those who make full payment on or before January 31, 2025 (Friday) can get a 20% discount. Those who pay quarterly can get a 10% discount,” Advincula said.

In General Trias City, the local government also launched the GenTri eBOSS, which will be opened starting January 6 to February 14, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Fridays (excluding holidays) at the City of General Trias Cultural and Convention Center in Bgy. Sampalucan (Poblacion).

According to Business Permit and Licensing Office head Romel Olimpo, business owners may apply or renew online by using the QR Code or URL https://egovcityofgeneraltrias.ph/bplo. No walk-ins allowed.

The locality also announced a free ride from the city hall lobby to the Convention Center for those who will pay taxes during the program period.

In Dasmarinas City, eBOSS will be held at the Dasmarinas Arena in Bgy. Burol Main from January 2 to 20, 2025.

Priority lane can be availed by senior citizens, persons with disabilities and pregnant women processing business taxes in the city.

The city government of Dasmarinas will also provide free service from the old city hall in Poblacion to Dasma Arena from 7:15am to 5 pm.

In Trece Martires, Mayor Gemma Lubigan and Vice Mayor Robert Montehermoso congratulated the first three business owners who renewed their business permits on January 2, this year.

“With the free tumbler being greeted and personally handed to them as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the Business Permit acquisition process, the first 200 to process their business permit will receive a free tumbler from the city government of Trece Martires,” Lubigan said.

“I encourage you to process your business permit to avoid the rush of people on its last day. We are constantly thinking of ways to speed up and improve our services for all of you.” Lubigan added.

The local government office of Noveleta temporarily holds office on the 2nd floor of Primark Mall in Bgy. Magdiwang while the five-storey new municipal hall building in Bgy. Poblacion is still undergoing construction.

Mayor Dino Chua encouraged residents and investors to pay taxes on time to avoid penalties in the unified Business-One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) system that brings together local offices for faster processing of tax payment.

The cities of Carmona, Tagaytay, Cavite and the municipalities of Kawit, Rosario, Tanza, Naic, Maragondon, Ternate, Magallanes, Bailen, Alfonso, Indang, Amadeo, Mendez, Silang and GMA also opened their respective eBOSS system.
