Carpenter hunted for child rape nailed

A CARPENTER wanted for the rape of a female child below 12 years old was arrested following a manhunt operation Sunday in Aurora.

Local police identified the arrestes suspect as Allan Robles, 51, resident of Bgy. Dinadiawan, Dipaculao, Aurora.

Robles was collared by members of the Dipaculao municipal police and 2nd Maneuver mobile force platoon 2nd PMFC of Aurora in anoperation in Sitio Kepet, Bgy Dinadiawan, Dipaculao based on a warrant for statutory rape issued by Judge Alejandria Bautista Javier-Genota, of Baler RTC Branch 1-FC.

“We continue to step up our campaign to eradicate all forms of criminality including intensification of manhunt operations against wanted persons within the region in line with the guidelines of PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar and we will not stop until we have accounted them all,” said Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon

Drug peddler killed in Tarlac sting

In another development, a suspected drug peddler was killed in a drug bust Sunday in Tarlac City.

Tarlac City police commander Col. Renante Corpuz Cabico said his men launched an entrapment in Bgy. Cut-Cut 2, Tarlac City against Ryan Conrad Dare, of Sitio Landing, Bgy. San Rafael, Tarlac City.

However, the incident turned into a bloody encounter.

Police seized from Dare a motorcycle, a cellphone, a .9mm gun loaded with three live bullets, four fired cartridge cases, and the P1,000 marked money.

De Leon has vowed to continuously conduct operations to curb the proliferation of drugs in Central Luzon.
