FORMER President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is now the appointed one of Kingdom of Jesus Christ Pastor Apollo Carreon Quiboloy.

Duterte, a known close ally of Quiboloy, has been appointed administrator of all the properties of the embattled Davao-based religious leader.

Quiboloy is the spiritual adviser of President Duterte.

The official announcement came after the reported court ruling in the United States and the unsealing of the warrants against Quiboloy who is facing several criminal charges.

The pronouncement was officially aired by SMNI (Sonshine Media Network International) yesterday morning which stated: “Former President Rodrigo Duterte is appointed as new administrator for KOJC properties.”

Details were not mentioned.

No confirmation nor denial was given by the camp of former President Duterte as of press time.

Reportedly, Quiboloy is facing charges in the US for sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children, conspiracy and bulk cash smuggling.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation reportedly revealed that the KOJC founder and leader is also wanted “for his alleged participation in a labor trafficking scheme that brought church members to the US via fraudulent obtained visas and forced members to solicit donations for a bogus charity to allegedly finance church operations and allegedly the lavish lifestyles of its leaders.”

A court ruling in the United States by California Judge Terry Hatter Jr., reportedly ordered the unsealing of warrants and returns against Quiboloy and several of his associates.

Reportedly it is said that the unsealing of the warrants will allow the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) to issue a Red Notice.

The Red Notice is the first step to extradition which was being anticipated by Quiboloy’s camp.

A person listed on a Red Notice of the InterPol is placed on a lookout list.

When the name of the person listed comes to the attention of law enforcement abroad who are members of the Interpol, such as the Philippines National Bureau of Investigation, NBI may then inform INTERPOL of the whereabouts of Pastor Quiboloy, and Interpol will then inform the FBI and the US Federal Prosecutor.

The US Judge may then request that person’s provisional arrest or a formal request for extradition may be filed.

KoJC’s legal counsel earlier described all the charges against Pastor Quiboloy as a vicious attempt to bring down the religious leader as they expressed confidence that all these charges holds no water.

Presently, Pastor Quiboloy was subpoenaed by both the Senate and the Lower House to appear which the KoJC leader ignored.

The Senate Committee chaired by Senator Risa Hontiveros cited him in contempt for continuously ignoring the invitation of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla confirmed that the DOJ will review the criminal charges of Quiboloy which was filed in Davao.

The DOJ Chief as already issued a directive to the prosecutor to transfer the cases of sexual abuse of a minor and the qualified trafficking charges against Quiboloy here in Manila.

Quiboloy has been known as a very close and longtime friend of the former president who was reportedly played a big role in Duterte’s political life.

Duterte as the current administrator is expected to ensure that all Quiboloy properties will be well taken care of. The former president is tasked to preserve and maintain and address all financial transactions under the name of the KoJC leader.
