THE University of Caloocan City (UCC) will open its new College of Engineering campus in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City – North once the new school year starts, in fulfillment of one of the campaign platforms of City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan.

The new free programs include Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, and Computer Engineering.

Mayor Along encouraged his constituents to avail themselves of this opportunity, saying that the city government remains committed to empowering the youth and strengthening the education system by providing more options for the city’s students.

“Ang bagong UCC College of Engineering ay patunay lamang po ng tuloy-tuloy na pagtaas ng antas ng edukasyon sa ating lungsod. Binabati ko po ang lahat ng mga Batang Kankaloo at sana ay huwag nating sayangin ang oportunidad na ito,” Mayor Along said.

The local chief executive added that more projects are underway to provide better education to the city university and other public schools.

“Hindi pa po tayo tapos. Marami pa pong susunod na proyekto kagaya na nga lang ng UCC College of Medicine and Health Sciences upang pangalagaan ang iba’t-interes ng mga Batang Kankaloo,” he declared.

A special application for admission is scheduled from July 8 to July 12.
