THE city government of Caloocan, through the initiatives of Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO), conducted a gift-giving program for children with disabilities in various areas of the city.

The beneficiaries, who are all registered PWDs in the city below 18 years old, received gift packs from the city government containing milk, oatmeal, and snacks.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan reaffirmed his pledge to PWDs to strengthen existing programs for their benefit and expand the coverage of said programs to have more beneficiaries in the coming months.

Prior to the gift-giving program, the city government has likewise prioritized income opportunities for vulnerable sectors, including livelihood distribution programs for PWDs, senior citizens, and solo parents.
