TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – 210 new active cases were added to the number of COVID-19 in the region so that it reached 1,037 active cases in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) based on the latest report released by the Department of Health (DOH) Region 4A on, July 6.

Also, 165 new recoveries were recorded from COVID-19, and three were recorded deaths due to such disease.

Laguna recorded the highest cases for the day with 68 new cases, followed by Rizal province with 62 new cases.

While Cavite remains with the highest number of total active cases with 402 cases, followed by Batangas with 256, Laguna with 217, Rizal with 133, and Quezon with 25 for a total of 1,033 active cases.

In Cavite, Bacoor City has the highest number of active cases with 90 cases, Imus with 70, General Trias has 64, Dasmariñas has 50, Tanza has 20, and Silang has 13 active cases.

The number of active cases rose to 338 in the region in just one week, with only 695 active cases as of June 30, 2022.
