BARANGAY Ginebra big man Christian Standhardinger did it again.

Standhardinger earned Davco-PBA Best Player of the Conference award for the second time in his career after helping the Gin Kings reach the finals of the PBA Governors’ Cup.

The 33-year-old Standhardinger won the top award over teammate Jamie Malonzo, RR Pogoy of TNT Tropang Giga and CJ Perez of San Miguel Beer.

The 6-11 Fil-German Standhardinger received 1,110 votes — 534 statisticians, 506 from the media and 70 from the players.

Pogoy had 672 votes.

Perez was third with 561, followed by Scottie Thompson of Ginebra with 497, and Jamie Malonzo with 456.

Meanwnhile, TNT’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was named the Coins.Ph – Best Import of the Conference.

Former NBA player Hollis-Jefferson beat three-time winner Justin Brownlee of Barangay Ginebra, Cameron Clark of San Miguel Beermen and KJ McDaniels of Meralco Bolts.

Hollis-Jefferson garnered 1,147 votes — 619 from the statisticians, 457 from the media, and 71 from the players.

Brownlee came in second with 966.

Clark and McDaniels wound up with 610 and 573 votes, respectively.

Standhardinger and Hollis-Jefferson received their awards ahead of Wednesday’s Game 4 of the PBA Finals lat the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
