Businesswoman in Pampanga gunned down
A FEMALE owner of a water refilling station on Wednesday was shot dead by two men on a motorcycle in Lubao, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the victim was identified as Maria Lourdes Batchinela-Dabu, 40, of Paralaya ll, Bgy. Sto. Tomas, Lubao, Pampanga.
Batchinela-Dabu succumbed to gunshot wounds in the chest.
Based on the initial investigation, the two unidentified suspects on a plateless motorcycle suddenly appeared at the water refilling station.
The backrider alighted from the motorbike, entered the establishment and shot the victim twice in the chest.
The suspects fled after the killing.
Witnesses told police that the assassins were wearing black sweat shirts, black jeans, black jackets and helmets.
Police immediately launched a dragnet operation for possible arrest of the suspects.
Scene of the Crime Office personnel arrived and conducted a crime investigation.
