Boy, 10, found dead on the road
IMUS CITY, Cavite – A 10-year-old boy was found dead lying on the road with a “live wire” wrapped in his hand Tuesday night, June 14, 2022, inside a village in Bacoor City.
Police said the victim was a Grade 3 student and resident of Horseshoe Drive, Kaunlaran Subdivision, Bgy. Molino 2, Bacoor City.
Based on the investigation by PCpl. Fidel G. Querijero III, in charge of the case, at 11:30 p.m., a resident of Bgy. Molino 3, Bacoor City, saw the victim lying on the road in heavy rain along Horseshoe Drive, Kaunlaran Subd., Bgy. Molino 2.
He was walking home when he noticed the victim, and upon closer inspection, he saw a coiled wire in the victim’s hand connected to the pole.
He immediately called for help and informed the victim’s parents. It took more than half an hour before the live wire was removed from the boy’s hand, allegedly with a powerful electrical voltage.
The victim was immediately rushed to SAMC Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
