CIDG smashes illegal guns, drug ring in QC
A KNOWN gunrunning and drug trafficking syndicate operating in Metro Manila was smashed by agents of the National Capital Region Field Unit of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) with the arrest of its eight members during an entrapment operation in Quezon City late Monday evening, a report to PNP-CIDG Director Major General Eliseo DC Cruz said yesterday.
