Bettor wins P63M Super Lotto pot
A METRO Manila bettor became an instant millionaire after bagging the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot in Sunday’s draw.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor purchased the winning combination of 05-42-40-03-25-35 with a total jackpot prize of P63,013,007 in Valenzuela City.
The bettor can claim his prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City upon presentation of the winning ticket and two identification cards.
Under Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, lotto winnings of over P10,000 shall be subjected to a 20% tax.
Some 26 bettors who guessed five out of the six two-digit winning combinations won P50,000 each, while 1,164 bettors got P1,200 each for getting four of the winning combinations.
The PCSO said prizes not claimed within a year should be forfeited.
The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
