Bautista appoints Karen Lim as OTS OIC
DEPARTMENT of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista has designated Attorney Karen B. Lim as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Office for Transportation Security (OTS) through the issuance of Special Order (SO) No. 2022-116 dated July 1, 2022.
Atty. Lim has been the OIC of the OTS Legal Service, which renders legal advice, comments, and opinion; interprets laws and rules affecting the agency’s operation; and serves as the agency’s in-house counsel.
Under the (SO) issued by Sec. Bautista, Atty. Lim is directed to perform and discharge the functions and responsibilities as OIC of the OTS until July 31, 2022, or until a replacement has been appointed or designated, whichever comes first.
