Batangas SACLEO nabs 20 ‘drug peddlers’
CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – At least 20 people the other day involved in illicit drugs were jailed after Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) operatives arrested the suspects in 15 buy-bust operations on the first day of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) according to the report by Batangas Police director P/Col. Glicerio C. Cansilao, to Regional Director PRO Calabarzon P/BGen. Antonio C. Yarra.
In Sto. Tomas City, four felons were arrested, as well as in the towns of Lemery and San Luis, Batangas.
In Lipa City, two were arrested, as well as in Mabini town.
Meanwhile, one each was arrested in Batangas City and the towns of Bauan, Rosario, and Ibaan, in Batangas.
Approximately, P/Col. Cansilao said some 21.04 grams of suspected shabu and 10.89 grams of marijuana worth P144,378.80 were seized from the arrested suspects.
