“First Fun Run! So happy about today’s fun run as the proceeds of this event will go to the benefit of our children with cancer,” ani Barbie.
“It made me realize that running isn’t just a hobby now but a new found purpose. I’ll be participating on more charity fun runs for sure,” she said.
“Surgery a few weeks ago was a success! We were able to extract 2 oocytes and they went straight to the freezer for cryopreservation,” pagbabahagi ni Carla.
Aniya pa, “Back at the clinic for another round/cycle! Let’s do this!”
“It’s heartwarming to see couples who yearn to have a baby. Some couples are young, some are a bit older. Different journeys, different backgrounds, but we all share the same dream,” saad ng Kapuso actress.
“Prepping for another round of injections and other medication! Hopefully we’ll be able to harvest more and healthier oocytes. Please pray for me?” aniya.
Matatandaan na unang ni-reveal ni Carla last week na nagdesisyon siyang magpa-freeze ng kanyang eggs years ago pa pero last year lang niya nagawa itong masimulan.
Ayon sa isang medical website, ang egg freezing o oocyte cryopreservation “is a procedure where a woman’s unfertilized eggs are collected, frozen, and stored for later use, allowing her to conceive at a later date. It’s a form of assisted reproductive technology (ART) that can help preserve fertility, particularly for women who wish to delay pregnancy for career, personal, or medical reasons.”
“After over a month of daily injections, countless other medications, multiple trips to @conceiveivfmanila , several blood tests, so much weight gain, and a whole lot of waiting, the day for egg harvesting and freezing finally came!” pagbabahagi ng aktres.
“I can’t even describe the mix of excitement and gratitude I felt. FINALLY! It certainly tested my patience and faith, and while there was bit of fear and worry, Doctora Eds Ong-Jao and the Nurses at Conceive IVF Manila in QC were so reassuring and comforting every step of the way.
“I’m beyond thankful for my family and best friends’ support too as I pass this next step in my journey. THANK YOU, Lord!” pahayag pa ni Carla.
