ANGELI Khang stars in a new Vivamax drama, “Tayuan”, directed by Topel Lee and will start streaming on June 23. So what is her role in “Tayuan” and why is “Tayuan” the movie’s title?

“I play Ella, an events project manager,” she says. “She’s an empowered woman who gets what she wants. One time, wala akong ma-book na ride online. E, I was in a hurry so I was forced to take a bus. Puno na pala ‘yung bus, tayuan na, kaya ‘yun ang title ng movie. Also, marami sa love scenes nangyari nang nakatayo kami sa loob ng bus, kaya double meaning ‘yung title.”

The bus conductor happens to be a good-looking hunk, Rico (played by newcomer Chester Grecia). “Dahil jampacked ‘yung loob ng bus, nung sisingilin niya na ako ng bayad sa pamasahe, nasiksik ako ng ibang pasahero at talagang our bodies get pressed against each other,” adds Angeli. “Naramdaman ko ‘yung katawan ni Rico at na-arouse ako. E, may pagka-playgirl ako rito. May boyfriend na ako, si PJ Rosario as Harold, pero nilalandi ko pa rin si Chester as Rico. He really had a big impact on me.”

She then started stalking him. She finds out that he is already married, has a wife, Bing (Stefanie Raz) and daughter. But this does not prevent her from continuing to pursue Rico.

“Persistent ako rito,” says Angeli. “Gagawin ko ang lahat para makuha ko siya. Mapaglaro ako rito, e, liberated. I’ve done it with different guys before and now, si Rico ang aking object of desire.

Hindi ko naman siya balak agawin sa wife and child niya. I don’t want commitment, but just a casual hookup. Tikiman lang.”

Rico himself has a history of being a notorious ladies man who has had a string of girlfriends. But since he got his wife pregnant and now that he is a family man, he has vowed to stay away from temptations like the alluring Ella.

He tries his best to resist Ella, but she won’t take no for an answer and he finds it harder and harder to avoid her advances. And although he has promised to be faithful to his wife, he finally yields to temptation and gives in to Ella’s seductive charms.

What they did not foresee is that they their sexual encounter will explode into an extremely satisfying orgasmic climax that leaves them both craving for more! Rico realizes that Ella can satisfy him in bed in more ways than his wife Bing ever can.

And Ella, in turn, discovers that Rico’s animalistic masculinity will haunt her and make her ask for more sexual fulfillment from him. In other words, what they thought would be just a one-night stand casual sexual encounter will turn into pure adoration of each other.

They are both aware that if they don’t stop and just continue to give in to their raging sexual urges, someone is bound to get hurt. But who is willing to let go when their forbidden love affair makes them feel so fulfilled and satiated in bed?

“This is one of the most demanding roles I’ve ever played,” says Angeli, who proves in the movie that she remains to be one of the most desirable sex sirens of Vivamax. “I’ve never been obsessed with anyone, so I had to channel all my emotions into feeling na patay na patay talaga ako rito kay Chester as Rico.”

Even the love scenes she did with Rico are so trying and exhausting. “Grabe rin talaga ang naging hirap namin sa sexual positions na pinagawa sa amin dito ni Direk Topel Lee. The number of adventurous and steamy sex scenes I did with Chester is just mind-blowing, so don’t miss it when it starts streaming on June 23.”

Supporting them in the movie are Rash Flores as Nigel, Rico’s best friend and kumpare, and Francine Garcia as Mags, Ella’s friend and confidante.

Meantime, how does Angeli feel now that Azi Acosta is said to be the number one Vivamax star when it used to be that she is the numero uno with the success then of her “Silip sa Apoy” and “Mahjong Nights”?

“Honestly, I’m happy for her, it’s her time to shine,” she says. “I’m grateful for the blessings na dumarating sa kanya. Wala namang competition among us Viva stars. We’re just happy na our movies are all doing well and we now have more than 7 million subscribers sa Vivamax.”
