Rabiya, Andrea and Max break through the international scene
Everything’s coming up sparkles for Kapuso actresses Max Collins, Rabiya Mateo and Andrea Torres, who not only continue to shine in the local entertainment industry but have also started to glimmer in the international scene.
Since signing with GMA last 2021 and with Sparkle this 2022, Rabiya starred in various projects for her home network, most notably as one of the three main hosts of the all-original morning Kapuso game show TiktoClock.
She recently made her international acting debut via Studio Three-Sixty’s action series One Good Day, where she plays the role of Sandra, a woman involved in former mobster Dale Sta. Maria’s (Ian Veneracion) life.
The six-episode series began streaming last November 17 on Amazon Prime.
Joining Rabiya in One Good Day is Andrea, who plays the role of Alex Sandoval.
In the trailers released by Studio Three-Sixty, the Kapuso actress was seen in plenty of scenes opposite leading man, Ian.
Aside from One Good Day, she is also set to appear in the Filipino-Argentine-produced film Pasional. In Pasional, Andrea portrays the role of Mahalia, a former tango dancer who will have the chance encounter of a lifetime during a plane ride.
She stars alongside Argentine actor/director Marcelo Melingo.
With her commendable performance as Sisa on Maria Clara at Ibarra and two international acting projects, Andrea is on fire indeed.
Last September, Max happily announced that she would be a part of the second season of the American-Filipino crime drama television series Almost Paradise.
Not much is known about Max’s role yet, but she will be starring alongside lead Christian Kane, who plays the role of Alex Walker.
The second season will be released on Amazon Freevee.
