Rebel member in Tarlac surrenders
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A former member of the communist terror group on Thursday surrendered to authorities in Tarlac.
Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said members of the San Jose police and the 304th RMFB3 facilitated the surrender of terror group member alias “Ka June,” 27, a garbage collector and a resident of Sitio Banquireg, Bgy. Iba, San Jose, Tarlac.
“Ka June” turned over to authorities a cal .38 revolver with three live bullets.
De Leon said the PNP and the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict and other concerned agencies will remain committed to end insurgency in the region.
