
2 Bacoor establishments locked down due to COVID spike
BACOOR CITY, Cavite – Two commercial establishments in this city were locked down yesterday due to rising cases of the coronavirus disease-19.
Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla ordered Little Quiapo in Talaba 4 and 678 Wet and Dry market in Bgy. Mambog 4 following reports of COVID-19 positive cases in the areas.
Around hundreds of individuals were directed to undergo antigen swab testing on August 9 to determine if they got infected with the virus.
BF El Grande in Molino VI and Addas 2C are still on a granular lockdown until Aug. 9 after some of the residents caught COVID-19.
As of Aug. 4, Bacoor City has a total of 11,503 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 10,186 recoveries, and 379 deaths.
In Dasmariñas City, the local government unit put Mabuhay City and Phase 2 Extension under granular lockdown due to 93 COVID-19 cases.
