Enrique back with ‘big bird’

Kaugnay ito sa release ng official trailer ng pelikula ni Enrique Gil na ‘I Am Not Big Bird’. Far from his usual projects, this movie tests the comedic talent of Quen, as Enrique is fondly called. Ito rin ang magsisilbing showbiz comeback ng aktor simula nang mag-pandemic. Matatandaan na isa si Quen sa mga aktor na pansamantalang tumigil noong kasagsagan ng pandemic. Bukod dito, naapektuhan din ang career niya nang mabuwag ang loveteam nila ni Liza Soberano matapos iwan nang huli ang local showbiz para sa Hollywood dream nito.
Quen’s movie is a shot in the arm for his career sans a screen partner. Based on its teaser, ‘I Am Not Big Bird’ follows the formula of the Pinoy comedy movies back in the 80s and 90s. Partly shot in Thailand, ‘I Am Not Big Bird’ is directed by Victor Villanueva, with Pepe Herrera, Nikko Natividad, and Red Ollero completing the cast. The movie already made a big splash with 1.5 million views in three hours of the release of its official trailer.
Netizens seem to have missed Quen based on the trending outcome of its trailer’s drop on You Tube. Kaugnay nito, naging usap-usapan na rin noon ang sexy photo ni Quen na bakat na bakat ang kanyang bukol. Mukhang patikim ito sa kanyang pelikula na showing sa mismong Valentine’s Day, February 14. Will ‘I Am Not Big Bird’ reinvent and revive Quen’s sleeping showbiz career? Just asking…
