Puring-puri ng netizens at kapwa-celebrities si Isabelle Daza sa fund-raising campaign na isinasagawa nito para sa isang 44-year-old domestic helper na si Elvi Vergara na pinagmalupitan ng mga amo sa loob ng tatlong taon sa Occidental Mindoro.

Nagbukas ng fundraiser online si Isabelle kung saan pwedeg mag-donate ang mga netizen na nais tumulong kay Nanay Elvi para sa isasagawang eye operation nito.

“Elvi Vergara is a domestic helper who has been allegedly physically, mentally and verbally abused by her employers so much that she has been blinded in both eyes,” pahayag ni Isabelle.

“She is currently going to have an operation in one eye to try to recover her sight in one eye—but the outcome is unsure.

“Her compensation from her alleged abusive employers have been withheld,” aniya.

“I am raising funds for her to be able to live her life free from this abuse without having to worry about what she will eat and will she have enough money to live.

“She testified against her employers who denied the alleged abuse and it is an undergoing case in the Senate.

“I will make sure she recieves this cash personally and not through anyone or any org. Thank you for helping,” pahayag pa anak ni Gloria Diaz.

Goal ni Isabelle na maka-raise ng P300,000 and as we write ay nalampasan na ito dahil nang i-check namin ang site ay nasa mahigit P700,000 na ang nalikom ni Isabelle para sa kasambahay.

“To all those who donated, its only been 2 days but you guys have really opened your hearts and more importantly wallets. 💕 salamat! And i havent even pressured my influencer friends to post or donate,” ang pasasalamat ni Isabelle sa kanyang Instagram page.

Naka-tag sa post ni Isabelle ang mga nag-donate kabilang na sina Anne Curtis, Solen Heussaff, Liz Uy, Iza Calzado, Raymond Gutierrez, Erwan Heussaff, Vicki Belo, Tim Yap, Alex Gonzaga among others.

Sa comment section ay labis ang papuri ng netizens and celebrities sa ginawa ni Isabelle.
